Preventing Childhood Hearing Loss With Award Winning Sound
The director of procurement from Gateway Computer, Dave Russell was starting a new venture in the headphone space. Dave‘s daughter Niki started to experience noise induced hearing loss at a young age from listening to music at an unsafe volume on headphones. Startled by the statistic that 2 out of 3 children will experience some hearing loss by age 16, Dave partnered with a globally influential audiologist and Prophetic to bring his dream of safe, audiophile-quality headphones to life.
Prophetic designed the identity for Puro, as well as packaging, point of purchase displays and a direct to consumer website. Prophetic also directed product design, shot photography and designed in-store displays for Costco.
At Gateway Dave had become a leader in the direct-to-consumer space. His expertise paired with great product and packaging design has made Puro a market leader who had experienced triple-digit growth the past three years.
